Context

Screen city is an installation by artist Alessia Sanna. It questions new digital paradigms and the rise of smart cities. Effectively simple, the installation consists of 10,000 plaster modules placed on the gallery floor and an interactive video projection which, at first glance, could be likened to a heatmap (a modern visualization tool for exploiting data in the form of color density).
